Meeting with your guide under the clock of the Ferry Building, and first glimpse of Downtown. Walk along the waterfront with many exceptional points of views of the Bay of San Francisco and the Bay Bridge.
You go through Financial District on a suspended promenade above the traffic, where the architectural and varied views alternate.
In Chinatown, you avoid the tourist crowds and in a maze of narrow streets and hidden alleyways, you discover the ancient deities, offering ritual and practice of divination. You will meet the residents and their habits to play cards and chess in parks, and you exchange on the benefits of qigong, taiqichuan and traditional medicine.
Along the way, your guide tells you stories about the Gold Rush, the Great Earthquake, and life of extravagant characters who have marked the city.
The end of this tour takes you to the Dragon Gate, corner of Grant and Bush Streets, close to a very old French Quarter. From there you can go shopping in Chinatown, take a transport to your next destination or walk to UnionSquare.
